Here's what the humans have to say about me:
(This is a courtesy listing. Abby is not a CHEW Dog Rescue dog and we have not met her. Please contact Joe, her owner at 253 227-3387 to find out more about her. John provided the following description for Abby)
Abby is a 5-6 year old spayed Boxer mix girl weighing about 45 lbs. She loves attention, thinks she is a lap dog, and is very loyal, loving, and protective. She gets along with most other animals, loves kids, but is very cautious of men. And Abby doesn't like a lot of commotion, fast movement, rough play around her, or to be locked up.
Abby has a nice energy level-- she isn't too hyper and doesn't just lay around either; enjoys going for walks or a run. She knows commands like sit, lay down, kennel, and go get your toy and is potty trained. She likes car rides and does very well in the car. She likes to play catch and tug of war. But she especially loves to be loved.
She does seem to have anxiety about new people and surroundings so she is on edge a lot when out (very aware of everything).
Abby is an amazing dog and who ever ends up with her will forever have a friend and companion.
Abby needs a home with a fenced yard and someone who will make her a member of the family.
