Mya's Story...
Can you be my hero? My name's Mya and my life's been hard. For five years, in pouring rain, snow, ice and scorching sun I lived chained. I wagged my tail, giving my best smile hoping for a kind word and attention. Dreams do come true when I was liberated by a nice man. He lost his home. Sometimes, a dream takes a detour. The volunteers assured me anyone would fall in love with my sweetness. My paws are crossed. Guess you'd like to know more about me. Best guess for breed mix is Yellow Lab/Shepherd. If you saw me standing, you'd notice I often have a Shepherd stance. My temperament's gentle and friendly. Very devoted. At first, I'm a bit shy with new people and warm up quickly. Given my story, sure you understand. I am good with older children, other dogs and fine with cats. I have a big heart. Everyone thinks I'm darling. I am housebroken, 6 years old, weigh about 60 lbs. The vet says I'm healthy. I've been spayed, am current on vaccinations and heartworm/Lyme tested. To make me your new best friend, please contact pals@psknet.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a Radford Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Radford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
