My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5-17-16. Meet Cocoa. This adorable little 8-pound, 4 year old Yorkie boy arrived at his foster home just today. He is being fostered in Leesburg, FL. Cocoa adoption fee is $450 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Cocoa by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.




Cocoa has already made himself at home. He is getting along just fine with his foster sister and brother. He appears to be house trained. Cocoa did fine on the car trip to his foster home. He walked fine on the leash, but did pull a little. He is a good eater and so far a quiet little guy.




His foster parents were told he has never been crated, so they will see how he does in the puppy playpen.



Cocoa needs to be neutered, updated on some of his vaccinations, and have his teeth cleaned. That will all be done this week, and once he has healed he will be ready for his forever home.



He is a very very sweet boy who will be a great pet for someone able to give him the love and attention he needs. He would do well with children over the age of 12, but he does not like young kids at all.



There will be more coming on Cocoa as his foster parents get to know him better.
