Bella's Story...
Bella, DSH Spayed Female, Dilute Calico, Front Paw De-claw, all vaccines current. Est. DOB 4-2009
Bella is a major love bug. She and her brother Edward were tossed outside when their owner died. This is tough enough for a cat with claws, a death sentence for a declawed kitty. She absolutely must go to an inside only home, and hopefully one where she would never again be put outside to fend for herself.
She craves attention, wants to be on a lap. Tends to like the men in her life. She should do fine with children who are not too loud or active with her. We don’t know her experience with dogs, but usually most cats will adjust to a laid back easy going dog.
She is living in a Hickory NC suburb with Melanie who will be more than happy to speak with you about taking them into your home. Her cell number is: 828-238-3921
Bella is sponsored by Partners for Cats, so there is no adoption fee. All you need is a safe home, good food and Love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Morganton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
