My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger is a 10-yr old West Highland Terrier mix that weighs 10 lbs. She was adopted from the shelter 9 months ago from someone who can no longer keep her. The owner reached out to us to take her into our rescue. You can see a video of her in action.

She is very sweet, active and doesn't act her age! She loves to play with toys and is great with other small dogs. On walks she can be reactive to other dogs but not people. She is house trained and walks nicely on leash. She would be fine in an apartment or house but not suited for a lively house with children under 8 yrs of age.

She doesn't like fast movement when she initially meets someone, if you get down to her level and let her sniff you she is fine. She does not bark and is a nice, gentle little pup.

If you are interested in Ginger, please complete the on-line application as she does not always attend the weekly adoption event at PETCO on Saturdays.
