KATIE's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Katie. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya!

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?

Wanna hear more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Belgium Malinois and maybe Lab mix. I wound up without any parents so I don’t know for sure. My wonderful fosters say that I am about 7 months old. I weigh 32 pounds right now and will probably level off at about 55 - 60. Perfect, huh? I will have been spayed, microchipped and have all of my vaccines up-to-date before I leave to join you in my new home! I can’t wait!

I overhead my foster mom bragging on me. Know what she said? Well, she said that I am a very smart and very, VERY social girl. Great, right? I’d like to add that I would like to be in an active home, probably with older kids over 10 if you have kids at all. If you are an active single guy or girl, that could be a great home for me too! I need to have my mind and body exercised a lot AND, I get along great with other dogs. What more could you ask for, huh?

Since I’m just a pup, I’m working on potty-training and basic commands and, right now, I’m not crazy about my kennel cuz I like to be with my peeps, but things are looking up. I’m a quick learner and I’ll have this all down pat in no time. My fosters say that I am so smart that, in the right family, I could master lots of commands.

Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? I like to go on walks and I have lots of endurance. As I get older, I would make someone a good, really good, running and hiking partner. I love car rides and I yearn to be in a family that can devote lots of time and attention to me. Might that be YOU? I hope so. I LOVE people so what do ya say?

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email mpringle001@comcast.net and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $650 and includes my vetting, spaying, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.) Why Adoption is a Great Option

KATIE, a Seattle Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
