Arrow's Story...
ADOPTION FEE: $400 AGE: 5 years (or younger?) Vaccination Date: August 2013 Health: No obvious health issues. Weight: 8 lbs Temperament: He is very laid back and sweet. Loves to be held in your lap or carried around. I have not heard him bark once. Has a beautiful face and coat of hair. He would make a great lap-dog but does enjoy a short walk around the block in nice weather. He is NOT house trained. Favorite Activities: He loves the soft beds.... something he never had before. Crimes: He was in a hoarding situation when his human mommy died and the kids took him and his 15 pom siblings to the Ft. Worth Animal shelter and left them there. They were very confused and scared. Recycled Poms pulled these kids and nursed them into a good health. They all had horrible teeth from poor diets, were not spayed and some had health issues that had to be addressed. They were covered in fleas and ticks and had ear-mites and matted fur. It took a long time to get these kids into shape but they are thriving and doing very well now. Ambitions: To find the perfect furrever home. IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT HER: Please email Recycled Pomeranians: info@recycledpomeranians.com and/or Ruffdogpictures@yahoo.com Dogs being adopted will be: Up-to-date on their vaccinations (including rabies if the animal is over 4 months of age), given a Bortatella vaccination, spayed or neutered, dental if needed, fecal tested, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), given a general dewormer, treated for fleas, and given a weeks worth of Nutro Natural Choice small bites dog food. Phone 214-778-7758 E-MAIL INQUIRES: Please be patient with us! We're taking care of a lot of kids – The foster kids AND our own. Plus, we have families, homes and even full time jobs. We're giving meds to the sick kids, playing with the healthy kids, and loving on all the kids as often as possible. We're doing their laundry, trying to teach them manners and taking them on walks. In other words, we're just a little busy but we'll return email inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. ADOPTION DONATIONS: When you see the adoption donation amounts, we'd like you to know that 90% of the time the donation amount DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE to covering that kid's dogtor bills. Most of the kids have a minimum $500 vet bill that we pay out of our own pockets. But the impawtant thing is to get these kids the medical care they need and help them find the pawfect family. That's our top pawority. (Sorry, I just can't resist using 'paw' whenever I can!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arrow, a Dallas Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
