Meet Ralphie. He is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs around 10 lbs. You might notice that Ralphie is not a Boston Terrier....he and his mother Alice were rescued from a shelter when one of our volunteers went to pick up a Boston Terrier and she just could not leave them behind.  Ralphie has a dangler, which is his front leg that was either broken and never repaired or was born that way.  It does not affect him one bit.  He runs with the best of them and even jumps on furniture.  His foster is working with on housebreaking but he is puppy pad trained. He is an absolute doll. Loves to be loved on and snuggled.  Ralphie is neutered and up to date with all vaccinations. He does get along with other dogs. He seems to shy away from men but  we don't know what happened to him his younger years.  If you want a wonderful companion choose Ralphie as your new family member! Ralphie's adoption fee is $250

About Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas was established approximately 15 years ago in an effort to help rescue as many Boston Terriers as possible due to the groups love of the breed. Our rescue has had many loyal volunteers over the past 15 years who have been successful at saving well over 200 Boston Terriers. We continue to make every effort to save all Boston Terriers who need help regardless of their age or health. Our love of the breed allows us to continue our work even in tough times. The rewards have been great with the many Boston Terriers that have been placed in loving forever homes over the past 15 years.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our Bostons are in foster homes. An application must be filled out and approved prior to meeting any of our dogs. All meetins are by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must fill out our application upon which a volunteer will conduct a vet reference check as well as contact a landlord when applicable. Upon approval of the application a home visit will be set up to ensure the home is appropriate for the potential new member of the family. A meet & greet can in many cases be done at the same time if we have a good fit for the potential adopter. An adoption fee of $250 for dogs over a year and a half and older will be charged for all adoptions. An adoption fee of $400 for dogs under a year and a half will be charged for all adopters. An adoption contract must be completed for all adoptions that will require the new adopter to keep the Boston Terrier on heartworm pervention for the dogs entire life as well as keep the dog indoors except for potty breaks and outdoor supervised playtime.
