Important Note

Sadie is best friends with Lucky. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Sadie was captured as a tiny baby - just a couple weeks old - in a barn where she was toddling over piles of dirt and debris looking for food. During her first few months, she was treated and medicated for upper respiratory and eye infections, worms, fleas, ear mites and lice. In the 18 months since her capture, she has warmed up to humans, but she is still shy about being picked up. Once held, however, and familiar with “her” humans, Sadie is happy to rest in your arms and let you pet her. She is very smart and picks up on “routines” very quickly, including knowing where to find the plastic balls to play with Lucky (her roommate and best friend). Once that’s done, she knows where to find her breakfast, and is very observant of everything around her.

A lovely full “Tortie” (tortoise-shell color) female, Sadie was spayed, was tested (Negative) for feline leukemia (FELV), feline AIDS (FIV), and Heartworm (HW). All of her vaccinations are up to date. Her best friend is her Lucky, and these two girls play together so well – they are each other’s “BFF’s.” Hopefully they can be adopted together so they can continue their friendship, their play, and love of each other.
