My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Venice was rescued from a local kill shelter where she had been brought in with two other cats (another calico that must be her sister because they are so similar and also being fostered by FFAR - Vera) because their owner had gone to jail. All three cats were seized by the police when their owner was arrested. All were around a year old and unvetted and one of them had a kitten. All three cats were also very thin and obviously had not gotten the care they needed. One was adopted from the shelter, but the other two remained at the shelter until Furry Friends rescued them. Venice is a very unusual cat. She has beautiful blue eyes and her head and body shape are reminiscent of a wild exotic cat breed. Her coloring is also unique. Best of all about Venice is her super sweet and social personality. She is truly a love. She was very ill in her foster home after her spay and allowed her foster mom to do anything and everything to her without protest. She popped pills down her throat and put lots of needles in her giving her subcutaneous fluids and she took all of this without any attitude at all. This is a sign of an easygoing cat! Even many very nice cats will not allow all this handling, especially when they don't feel well and especially when it consists of needles and pills. Venice is one of the "good" calicoes - no bitchiness at all - and is very deserving of a great forever home. If you can provide a loving forever home for this extremely loving kitty, fill out an application and adopt her today!
