Badger- WAIVED FEE's Story...
***BLACK FRIDAY FREE ADOPTION PROMOTION DETAILS*** Promotion valid only on available pets, and only from 11/27-11/29/2016. Adoptions must be finalized during a regularly scheduled adoption event 11/27-11/29. Applicants must apply online and undergo our normal adoption procedure to be approved to adopt. Please apply before 11/25 to ensure that we have time to review your application. An application does not guarantee approval. All applicants being considered for adoption will be contacted by phone after review of their application. We reserve the right to pass over or deny any application, and to remove or withhold any animal from the promotion at any time for health or other reasons. Applicants who are unable to finalize during an adoption event Black Friday weekend are welcome to apply to adopt at full fee the following weekend if still available.

Badger is a 9 year old Corgi/ CairnTerrier mix. He is very low energy. His favorite pastime is sleeping and snuggling on a warm lap. Since Badger is older, he has a small eye problem, so they will need to be cleaned everyday. If you want to give this senior boy a loving place to live out his golden years, apply online today!

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: http://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. You will receive an automated confirmation once your application is successfully submitted. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call ASAP.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a dog in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Badger- WAIVED FEE, a Cincinnati Corgi/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Cairn Terrier for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Corgi/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Corgi/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
