This is Trevor the tripod. He's a young buck at just 2 yrs old, weighing in at 18lbs.

Trevor is sweet and full of personality. A typical Jack Russell - High Energy! Always on patrol for squirrels and rats... He's super fast and runs like the wind! Trevor definitely doesn't let having one less leg slow him down.

Trevor loves to play and explore, mostly he loves to snuggle, but sometimes he can be Mr Independent. At our dog adoption event this weekend, Trevor met many dogs and kids of all sizes and did well though he prefers the company of humans.

Trevor knows his name and comes when called, he is crate trained and doggie door trained too.

Jack Russells are highly intelligent and motivated dogs and they need lots of activity and mental stimulation to keep them from getting bored.

If you delight in a dog that's full of personality who'll reward you with endless tail wags and laughs then Trevor is for you.

About Cody's Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. Upon request, they are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $200 to $250 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $300 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.
** Please note that I do not usually adopt out my dogs with children under four years of age.
