My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Gillian. I joined the SA GREYS family recently because i hurt my toe. It's kind of dangling instead of sticking out like a normal toe.

The doctors at Briarcrest Veterinary Care Center said not to worry, they'd fix me up and they did.

My welcome basket had a SA GREYS tag, a collar, a martingale collar, a leash, a toy, and my personal favorite, a nubby bone. I hope I get one on my pillow every night.

I told the person I also felt silly because I didn't lie on the bed right. She said not to worry, greyhounds never lie entirely on their beds...there is always something hanging off no matter how big the bed is. That's good news. At least I'm normal.

I can't wait to meet y'all! Gillian is small dog tolerant, but she is not cat tolerant. She is 3 1/2.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Gillian is a friendly, people-oriented hound. She has beautiful eyes, glittery fur, and a big toothy grin.

Gillian is confident, house trained and rides well in the car. She has a medium energy level, not a couch potato but also not super active. Gillian has a touch of separation anxiety, whining when her foster mom leaves. However, she is not destructive.

Gillian is fully recovered from toe surgery and has no physical restrictions. She is enjoying her freedom. Gillian likes to interact with people, play with toys and spend time with her greyhound foster brother. She would be happiest in a home with another dog to keep her company when her person is away.
