Trevor's Story...
Hiya! My name is Trevor! Im in search of something called a forever home. Can you give me one of those? I hear theyre the BEST. Im very friendly and enjoy spending time with my foster mama. I love when she plays with feather toys with us, its so much fun to chase them! Once Im all tuckered out Ill curl up with you and take a nap, then back to playing! I hope to find a family that will adopt one of my siblings with me so I have a buddy. If not I hope theres already a kitty at home who needs a playmate. Love, Trevor

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
