My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everybody my name is Sandy and I have a very tender story to share with you...well here goes...I was found as a stray...heavy with "child" and a kind stranger brought me to Animal Care and Control...I didn't have a clue what was to happen next...I had bloodwork done...and I had all kinds of tests run...and the saddest part of the day was hearing that I have those bad worms around my heart..I was terrified not knowing what the future for my unborn litter would be...well as a few days passed I was put on the urgent list...fearing the worst...but my fears vanished the day I heard the name Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary...apparently they are well known at ACC and my future started to brighten right away...then a day later...aunt Liz and Mary came to ACC and picked me up...boy was I happy to see them...I could see in their eyes that they are pup lovers and the smiles on their faces told that as well...sooo off to the country we drove...and I was brought to the condo...well let me tell you...theres A/C...a toddler bed with a brand new mattress...a color tv...who could ask for a better place to have their babes...I was given a new bed and a chance for a future of love and happiness...as the days passed my belly got bigger and bigger...aunt Liz uncle Steve and aunt Mary came to visit me all throughout the day and night...singing sweet songs...giving me a back rub...and praying my pups would come soon...then about 630 on Labor day...my miracle started to happen by midnight I had had 8 pups and by morning the 9th was born...I have 6 girls and 3 boys...and they are beautiful healthy babes...they will be ready to be seen in a few weeks...and once they are weened...I can start my heartworm treatment...my heart is sooo full of love for my human friends here at Barky Pines and to those humans at ACC for giving me a second chance...thank you for reading my story...
Updated...
