JAVY's Story...
Javy is an adorable little guy who is so sweet and playful. He will sit on command but was so looking forward to playing with the other dogs he didn't want to stay sitting for too long. Javy's coat is so soft and silky. He only weighs 33 pounds and is one year old. Javy came to the shelter as a lost stray on May 17th and is available for adoption. He is up to date with shots and has been neutered, heartworm tested negative, and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Javy is in Run 330 and his ID is 584373.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAVY, a Marietta Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
