My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An adoption application on ANNA can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to kate.woofriver@gmail.com

Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. This causes confusion.
ANNA is beautiful, smart, fun, cuddly, and the list goes on. She loves exploring in the yard and collecting twigs. She also loves cuddling with her foster mom and playing with the little girl in her foster home. She is best buds with the other puppy in her foster home and takes correction well from their adult resident dog. ANNA is 11 weeks old as of 5/21/16. She is picking up on potty training very quickly and is eager to learn everything. Her forever family is going to be incredibly lucky.

ANNA is spayed, microchipped, and will be vaccinated as many times as age will allow when she arrives at her forever home.
Her local adoption fee is $275.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
