Meet beautiful Manso! He has a stunning red coat, is tall for a small dog, but very slender and weighs about 17 pounds fully grown. Manso is a three-year-old very sweet dog, a little shy at first but comes around quickly and bonds tightly with his person. He is smart and a quick learner. He is practicing leash walking and is the type of dog that you can bring along everywhere since he is smaller in size yet big enough to go for adventures. He would be a great hiking buddy if you are an active person but is also happy to snuggle up and cuddle. He lives in a foster home with several other dogs and is already neutered, up-to- date with shots and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manso, a Los Angeles Whippet/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Whippet/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Chihuahua breeders who help with Whippet/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
