Meet Wolfy! He originally arrived at the shelter as a stray. After being with the shelter for a little while, it was discovered he has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This is only contagious to other cats and only if they fight and bite each other. It is not contagious to people or dogs and it is not spread through the air.
He is an extremely affectionate boy, enjoys cuddling, belly rubs and soft head buts! He also likes other cats. He's also good with easygoing dogs. He has a quiet personality and also enjoys the company of people! He likes to have his chin scratched and likes to explore. Wolfy would prefer a quiet home because he's still a little unsure of new things and needs someone who will be patient with him and give him the time he needs to adjust and fit in. Once you meet him, he might be shy at first, but just give him a little time to get used to you and he warms up very quickly. He is currently friends with another FIV cat named Maurie. They get along very well and Wolfy is helping Maurie to come out of his shell. We would really love to see these 2 boys go home together because of how well they get along and the progress Maurie has made in just a few days of meeting Wolfy! Stop in today and ask about more details on Wolfy and his buddy Maurie!
