Ivory's Story...
Ivory is a sweet, sweet girl, with so much love to give!!!! She has a deep, pensive look in her eyes that draws you in. She has had a tough start and seems humble and very grateful for the chance at a new beginning and a bright future. Ivory craves human affection, as it is something that she has not received very much of until recently. Not having known much happiness or love in the past, she is flourishing in her foster home and gets happier with every passing day. She is showing interest in chasing balls and playing with squeaky toys and just learning to be pup. She enjoys comfy dog beds, cuddling on the couch, and lying in her humans lap. She is good at walking on a leash, but we are still working on other simple commands. She's just weaned her puppies and is ready for her own fairy tale "happily ever after". Ivory is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama but would love to relocate for her perfect match. For more information or to adopt Ivory please contact us at info@forrescue.net. Ivory can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivory, a Knoxville Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
