Maya's Story...
"My name is MAY, and I'd love to meet you. I'm a ten-month-old Chihuahua/ terrier mix who loves everybody. I'm happy, vivacious, and lots of fun. When I first go out to the play yard, I run around with complete abandon. It's because I love life! If you like a dog that can play fetch, then I'm your gal. A good ten-minute game of fetch helps me expend some energy, then I'm ready to snuggle up for some love and affection. I know how to sit on command, and my ability to stay seated will increase as I get a little older and more patient. I will get along well with kids and with other dogs, as everyone I meet is my friend and potential playmate. Even though I'm a small dog, I'll want a yard at my new home so I can get some exercise. A daily walk would be nice, too. Won't you please come visit me? You'll see that I'm a ray of sunshine who'll light up your life. I hope to see you soon. Love, May"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a El Cajon Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
