My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wolf! My name is Henrietta, but my foster family has been calling me "Greta" for short. I am a sweet rescue female 10 pound, 5-year-old terrier mix from Junction City, Kansas, where I was found a stray wandering the streets. After being in the shelter there for a period of time, I was rescued from All About Paws and transported to St. Louis where I have found my foster family! At first I was really scared and couldn't even get my tail from between my legs, but I am enjoying romping and playing in the yard now with my siblings. I am also learning to cuddle, but that comes a little strange for me, especially when my foster mom has four other dogs wanting to cuddle too. One-on-one though, I will cuddle with my foster mom and just LOVE it and I love her kisses too!!! I am house and crate trained. For now, there is not enough room in the "big" bed with my mom and other siblings so I am content just being in my cozy crate. I love to run and play in a fenced yard, but I may be able to tolerate a responsible individual who would walk me on a lease and let me do my business on a regular basis and I am a happy camper just being inside too! I have not been around children in my foster home, so I don't know if I tolerate them or not.. Unfortunately, I cannot speak about my background. I guess God made me that way! My foster mom thinks it would be cool if I was an only dog so I could get all the attention I deserve, but I am happy with other siblings too. Please come meet me and see if I would be a fit in your forever home!! XOXOXOXO! Greta is up to date on all her shots, is heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, has had a dental, is de-wormed, spayed, and microchipped. Greta’s adoption fee is $250. She would do best in a home without very young children. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
