Scholar's Story...
This fabulous little boy is a white Maltese/Poodle (Maltipoo) who is 2 years old and weighs 13 lbs. He is completely adorable and a perfect little gentleman in his temporary foster home. He is eating and sleeping well, housetrained and super sweet. He gets along well with everyone, including strange men, and just wants to play and be cuddled by anyone in the immediate vicinity! He is very chill with other dogs. He is a little puzzled by the whole concept of walking on a leash but he is open to learning about it and does much better in a harness. He is low maintenance and very affectionate and will make someone a wonderful companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scholar, a Encino Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
