  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Bo is a 2 year old male Heeler and he's looking for an active family to love! This big eared fella is a huge fan of playing with toys and other dogs, going for rides in the car, walks with his foster family, and anything else his family wants to do. Bo is a very active dog, and he'd love active humans and another active pup to spend his life with.

Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue therefore we do not have a shelter facility. Meet & greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or by emailing us at vivapaws@gmail.com Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva! conducts a meet & greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet & greet & home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions. Adoption fees for our dogs is $200, and cats is $50. Seniors and select animals may have reduced fees. The adoption fee includes current vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter and heartworm testing.

About Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned pets in rural high volume shelters. We hope to not only decrease the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized through rescue and adoption but also educate the population overall about the importance of spay and neuter programs. We do not have a facility, our rescue is strictly foster-home based.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our Adoption Process...

All animals are sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We require an initial adoption application, once accepted pets may be adopted with an approved home check and signed adoption contract. Our adoption fee is generally $200.00, but this may vary in special cases. We do not do out of state adoptions.
