Max - What a Sweet Man!'s Story...
*Update** (5/23/16) Max has received his HW treatment, and he will be cleared by the vet and will travel to us next week. He is such a sweet boy and deserves to have his very own family! (3/27/16) Max was found as a stray in NC, and no one came looking for him. The vet feels that he is about 7 years old and weighs 36 lbs. Max is receiving treatment for heartworm and will be coming to our rescue after his recovery. His foster mom says that Max is super sweet, good with other dogs and kids. Max will need a foster in Central PA when he comes to us the end of May. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING OR ADOPTING MAX, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max - What a Sweet Man!, a Quentin Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Quentin, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Quentin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quentin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quentin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quentin paves the way for another one to be saved.
