Townes's Story...
This is one of 6 siblings available for adoption, Jerry Jeff, Nora, Selena, Stevie, Townes, and ZZ we believe they are Shep mixes but have no idea who the dad so this is a best guess of their breed. Mum is pictured on the post, her name is sunshine. They are 14 weeks old and ready to come to CT please note they are NOT in CT due to lack of fosters. They are too young to spay/neuter so that will be required by the adopter. So please do not fill out an application unless you are willing to adopt from transport. You can get an application at www.addicuslegacy.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Townes, a West Hartford Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
