Sasha's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This pretty lady is 6 years old and she weighs 38 pounds. She was surrendered to us by a family who could no longer care for her. Sasha is very friendly toward her human friends and she gets along great with very young children and older ones too and even dogs. She is house trained and would make a great addition to almost any family.  She was fostered in an apartment and did fine and is now in a house where she loves the yard, but a yard is not a requirement for her. She loves playing in a kiddie pool and romping in the water. Sasha has been spayed and is up-to-date with her vaccines and is just waiting on a home she can live in forever. Could that be yours?

We will be at the Potomac Mills PetSmart located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192 on Sundays from 1230 - 330. We look forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Woodbridge German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Woodbridge, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Woodbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
