Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank is a 7 year old Black and Tan Coonhound that was rescued from a very bad situation where he spent most of his life outside, chained to a tree. Now he's enjoying the good life in his Dallas foster home. He weighs approximately 100 lbs and is housetrained. He's learning to walk on a leash but does like to pull a bit. He is doing great in his foster home with his foster brother and sister, but they aren't as active as he would like to be so he gets to spend a few days a week at doggie day care and loves it! He loves everyone he meets but would be best in a home without small children since he jumps when he wants to play and may knock them down. He loves to go for car rides but seems a bit nervous that he may be abandoned again and whines until you get to your final destination. His personality is shining and he loves to snuggle on the couch with his foster mom. He has a beautiful bay and will let everyone know when someone is at the door! Hank is a wonderful hound that had a very tough beginning, but he's ready to put that all aside and find his forever home so that he can show his family what a loving and goofy hound he can be! If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful guy, please fill out an application today!
