Posted 5/24/2016. Rebel is an adorable Pit Bull mix, who has been looking for his forever home for quite awhile. We can’t understand why he hasn’t found it yet, since he is such a sweet boy.

Rebel’s previous owners left him and some rabbits behind in a trailer, in a crate that was way too small. He languished there for days, until he was rescued.

Rebel is a goofy boy, who loves to romp and play, especially with his Jolly Ball. He is very affectionate and wants nothing more than to have a person to love him and give him unlimited belly rubs. Rebel bonds fiercely and can't understand why so many people have disappeared from his life.

Rebel is currently residing at a very nice kennel, but a kennel is no place for any dog to be—he needs a foster or forever home! He would thrive in a home as your one and only, although he does get along with some dogs. He has not been cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with them. Rebel weighs about 75 lbs and is 4-5 years old.

Please consider fostering or adopting Rebel! Rebel is a graduate of CPAA's Hounds of Prison Education (HOPE) program, so he comes with free training for the rest of his life.

About Furry Friends Network - Dog Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Friends Network is a non profit, all-volunteer animal adoption organization. Our philosophy is to help those animals that did not ask to be born, that are often the result of human ignorance. Any animal, no matter its age, can offer love and companionship to the right person.

Furry Friends Network is not a shelter, but instead uses a foster home network to house the animals until permanent, indoor homes can be found, offering second chances at lifetimes of love and happiness.

Our Adoption Process...

Furry Friends Network's adoption process consists of four steps:

1. Complete and return an adoption application. Our volunteers then review the application and contact you. Mail "printable" adoption applications to:

Boiling Springs, PA 17007

2. The application process consists of contacting your personal and veterinarian references, contacting your landlord (as applicable), a personal interview and a home visit. The process will take approximately 2 weeks.

3. If your application is approved, a meet-n-greet with the animal and his/her foster family will be set up.

4. Finally, if it is a good match for both the animal and the applicant, a contract is signed and the animal officially has a new home.
