Hades's Story...
This little black beauty is Hades, an 8 week old little boy that would just love to snuggle up in your arms and stay there forever. Hades came to us with his siblings when they were just a couple of weeks old and found as strays with no mom around. They all spent some time getting lots of TLC until they were big and strong enough to be on their own. Now, they are all thriving and ready to move on. Hades is the mushball of the bunch. He is super sweet and cuddly, and just wants to be held and made to feel safe. He enjoys getting lots of attention and makes friends easily. Of course he's still a kitten, so he's playful and fun loving too, but he aspires to be a real lap-cat when he grows up and just needs a cozy lap to settle down in. Hades gets along fine with his siblings and would be happy to join a home with other cats, as long as you give him plenty of love and attention always. File#26182 4/28/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hades, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
