Elektra's Story...
Beautiful Feline Resident Looking For New Home/Apartment -- I've had my cat, Elektra, for 10 years. She's now 11. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic to her and we need to find her a new, loving home.

Here's how I would describe her, but you should contact me to come meet her if you're interested. Elektra is:
- a beautiful, sweet girl who loves her humans.
- mostly black, with yellow eyes and white bikini markings.
- a low maintenance couch potato; she enjoys the simple things like sitting next to her human on the arm of the couch and getting belly rubs. She also loves to be brushed.
- a flexible cat - she's lived with another cat, she's lived with another dog, and gets along with adults and children
- finally, she's also quite independent and can be a "single" cat

Please contact me at 917 301 5550 if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elektra, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
