SNAP Cats rescued Marley from San Francisco, CA. Since being here at SNAP Cats Marley’s been an absolute gentleman... most of the time. He loves pets and attention, but does get overstimulated and a bit nippy sometimes. Marley gets along great with all of our other kitties, except when provoked. We've recently found out that Marley is a "protector." He makes sure that the other cats, especially the kittens, are being handled "properly" by humans; and Marley protects his interests, like food. Knowing this we've made great strides in understanding how to manage his temperament. We can talk more about this if you're interested in him.

About SNAP Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal shelters, cat rescues and sanctuaries in Sonoma County (and the U.S.) are full. Innocent cats are being killed due to lack of space and/or funds. The first cats to be killed are special needs, elderly and feral cats, or cats who aren’t deemed “adoptable.” That’s unacceptable.

SNAP Cats is the only rescue & sanctuary in Sonoma County dedicated to special needs cats. SNAP Cats' specific focus is rescuing these cats, housing them, then finding them loving homes. We believe, if given a few more days or weeks or months, an older or special needs or feral cat can find the home that they deserve.

Therefore all cats at SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who cannot or are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment, free from judgment or harm.

Our Adoption Process...

Fees vary per cat. All prospective adopters must fill out an adoption form, then meet with an adoption councilor.
