Chester's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Chester's Story...
Chester is an AMAZING cat. He is SO friendly! He loves to put his paws up on your shoulders and nuzzle your face. He was trapped under a garage door for at least two days and has some nerve damage to his leg, so he walks with a slight limp. He is also FIV positive. He does not get along with other cats or dogs unfortunately, so he does need to be an only pet. He adores people though, so if you're looking for a lap cat to make your days happier he's the one for you!

Chester is about 5 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. Let us know if you're interested in bringing this sweetheart home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a San Antonio Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
