Ira's Story...
Hi! My name is Ira. I'm a 1 year old Domestic Short Hair. I have been neutered, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

All you need to know about me is that I will be a treat to have in your home. I am full of energy for all my playing needs, and then super cuddly for my nap times. I absolutely LOVE being around people, I even like talking. I'm especially good at being a distraction, if you look busy, I will make sure to help you remember that you need to take a break, multiple times a day. I'm helpful like that, I tend to distract the girls here daily. I'm just looking for a place to finally call my home, and a family that can love me just as much as I will love them. So if I sound like the guy for you, then please, come and see me today, I'm so looking forward to meeting you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ira, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
