Christine’s staff pick: Donald (05-07-16-09)
“Donald is such a goofball! This dog is obsessed with tennis balls, when he isn’t chasing shadows. He will climb a ladder or go under obstacles to get the ball if you tell him too. Donald will play ball for hours! But once the fun is done, and he is inside without his ball, he relaxes and just wants to hang out next to the couch. He will make a great running partner or a fantastic barn hunt dog.”
I am go-go-go from the time I spring out of my kennel and get outside in the open air. I love bouncing (literally – I can jump HIGH!) around with my toy as I head across the yard; I love my toys. I am wicked smart too! I know sit and down and can learn much more, come on by and I’ll happily show off for you. I hear these folks saying I like to wait and do my business outside, and from their tone I’d say that’s a good thing. I love treats so some of those when I do good makes me happy. My ears are a little sensitive so watch that. I am young and a bit big and full of energy, so an environment free from children and cats would be best. I am a Cattle Dog, so experience with dogs like me would be cool. I am about 10 months, 65 lbs and heartworm negative. Remember, toys, treats and exercise for me.
DONALD is up to date on shots and is available from Tehama County Animal Care Center. If you have any further questions please comment below. These nice people will answer if they can. Otherwise please call 530.527.3439.
