Hey there, I’m Stella! My story starts out a bit sad. I was abandoned when I was pregnant and had my babies outdoors – scary! Someone found me and took me to the pound, where I was able to care for my babies without having to hunt for food or worry about other animals. But that cage was pretty tiny and not very comfortable, so I was really excited when a volunteer from Henrico Humane rescued me and took me to a foster home. There I was finally able to relax and safely raise my little ones. Now that my babies are all grown up, they don’t need me anymore, and it’s time for me to find my very own forever home.
I want my forever home to be just perfect, so let me tell you a little bit about me. I absolutely love people – big ones, tiny ones, ones that only stop by for a day. They’re all so great! The best part is all the pets and head scratches they give me. I’m still figuring out who I am now that I’m done with all my mom duties. I haven’t had a lot of interaction with the dog and cat in my foster home, but I guess they’re alright. I wouldn’t mind having a home to myself though. Then I could be spoiled with all of the attention!
