RIPLEY is that DREAM DOG --- DOG FRIENDLY, SMART, GENTLE, SWEET and LOYAL -- oh SO LOYAL. Give him a chance and he'll STEAL your heart! He spent a YEAR at HEMPSTEAD SHELTER but has only MOVED CAGES so far! PLEASE let's get him into a LOVING HOME!
LONG ISLAND, NY: As some of you know, Road to Home Rescue Support pulled Ripley from the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter after he had been there for a whole year. The Pets4Luv Foundation is currently boarding Ripley at their facility and he has made so many new friends there.
One person in particular has been Ripley's friend for over a year now. When asked about their friendship, she said, "I have become so close to Ripley, the distinguished looking gentleman, that we have definitely become bonded. We walk, we sprint, we run, we sit, we train, we talk, we sing, and best of all we have lots of fun. You see, in my eyes and in my heart, Ripley is perfect and deserves the best that life has to offer! He is the ideal companion and loves to be by his human's side. He knows all of his commands and even enjoys showing you that he knows them. It is like Ripley takes great pride in his accomplishments. Oh, did I mention.... verbal rewards and treats are appreciated too. Plus, he is soooo handsome! I am so grateful to RTH and Pets4Luv for helping Ripley."
Ripley has such a tremendous support system at Pets4Luv. We serve as his temporary family and are trying so hard to help him make that forever connection.
