Hi! My name is Marco.

If you are looking for a very best buddy and love to have fun, I would love to meet you.

I came from the Fort Bend Animal Shelter, where my brother and I both ended up. We were picked up in a field and our original people did not come find us. We waited at the shelter for 5 long months. Thank GOODNESS everyone there was rooting for us to get out. WE DID!!!

I am just about a year and a half old. I need to gain some weight, but currently weigh about 60 pounds. I should probably be in the 65-70 pound range. I am a beautiful blue Merle with the sweetest brown eyes.

I am currently heartworm positive (not contagious) and am undergoing "slow-kill" treatment. But please don't let that keep you from meeting me. The people at Scout's Honor will be happy to discuss it with you, and I expect to live a long, happy life...will it be by your side?

If you would like to foster or even better ADOPT me, just fill out the proper application today,  www.scoutshonor.org  . Or if you have questions about me just email  info@scoutshonor.org  , and they will answer them as soon as they can.

SHR covers all expenses associated with fostering!
Can you foster Marco?

About Scout's Honor Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Scout’s Honor Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, Not-For-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization committed to bringing Courage, Character and Compassion to Houston’s homeless pet population and making a positive difference in the lives of these stray and abandoned animals and the Houston community as a whole. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to saving the life of a homeless animal.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.

Our Adoption Process...

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.
