Claira's Story...
Meet Miss Claira, She is a 4 year old Beagle. She is very friendly and loves being by your side. Claira gets along with other dogs and children. She is shy but warms up quickly. She likes sleeping in bed and sleeps all night through. Claira has some separation anxiety and prefers not to be in a crate and we are working on these concerns. She walks well on a leash and is house broken.

Claira is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in Claira please complete an application. If you have any questions concerning Claira please email us at info@thelastdogrescue.org. Please be patient as we are an all volunteer organization and we will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claira, a Red Lion Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Red Lion, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Red Lion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Lion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Lion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Lion paves the way for another one to be saved.
