Steel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Steel's Story...

He is simply a beauty - great with other dogs, loves his people and is all about the butt scratch. He knows commands and tries really hard to control himself when he sees you after you have been gone for the day (or for 5 minutes) so may need a little work on his jumpiness but really, is that so terrible?  He really deserves a chance at happiness with a forever family.  We just adore this sweet boy and know you will too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steel, a Ridgefield American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ridgefield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ridgefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
