Juliette's Story...
ABOUT JULIETTE - TAKE MY LEAD DOG
Juliette is an affectionate and sweet six-year-old Golden Retriever / Chow mix. She is part the Handsome Dan's Rescue Take My Lead program which provides her with FREE participation in Outbound Hounds' Reactive Dog class upon adoption to help Juliette and her new owner learn how to have more calm and enjoyable walks.

Juliette loves everyone she meets, is well behaved in the home, potty trained, but does need to be the only pet.

Life up to this point has been tough for beautiful Juliette. For years, she stood watch as a junk yard dog in Providence. Upon her rescue, she had damage to her eye requiring it to be surgically removed. Under the care of the staff and volunteers at the RISPCA Juliette has gotten all she needs and her only wish now is for a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juliette, a Cranston Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
