Phoenix is an absolutely adorable, cherub-faced, fluffy, brown tabby Maine Coon domestic medium hair mix boy who was born about Valentine's Day 2016. He loves to be held and sometimes wants to snuggle with you, and at other times he just wants to play with you. Although he can be a bit shy at first, he warms up quickly.
Phoenix gets along great with all ages of cats and dogs in his foster home. Plus, most Maine Coon mixes are known for being very patient with gentle children, so he would make an ideal family pet. Phoenix, as well as his brother Indigo and his sister Stormy, were rescued by Buster's Friends from the Wharton Animal Shelter when all animals had to be evacuated because of the torrential flooding on April 20.
Phoenix is a little young to reveal that he may have some Maine Coon blood coursing through her veins, but he will probably eventually have a ruff around his face and a huge fluff of a tail. Right now he already has the huge "snowshoe" paws, tufts in his ears, as well as the gentle, friendly, loving disposition of a Maine Coon mix. Phoenix is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home.
