Mickey's Story...
Mickey is a beautiful senior with double paws on all legs. He is one of two cats that were recently surrendered to the Shelter. He is very affectionate and loves attention from his human friends. The other cat, Little Girl, surrendered with Mickey is his litter mate. They have lived together in the same home for their whole lives. Mickey is a healthy senior with one exception. He is deaf but aside from his lack of hearing, he gets along very well. Because of their history, we would like to adopt Mickey together with his sister. Come see this dynamic duo at our adoption partner, Petco, in Gilford.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
