Bailey is about two or three years old and was taken into our program last spring when she resourcefully broke into a PetPromise volunteer's basement to safely deliver her three kittens. She is the epitome of sweet and sassy, and she's not afraid to march to her own beat. She greets her foster mom first thing in the morning and also when she gets home in the evening. She's not shy about asking for attention when she wants it, and she loves to be held. She also sleeps in bed with her foster mom and foster siblings. Bailey is very playful and her favorite toy is 'Da Bird. You can definitely tell she used to be a hunter! Since her hunting days have ended, Miss Thang has taken kindly to the pampered indoor life and loves the promise of her three square meals a day. Bailey tolerates other cats and sometimes will play with them if she's in the right mood. She becomes fractious around dogs. If you're looking for a sweet girl who plays by her own rules, apply to take Bailey home today.
Please complete an online adoption application at petpromise.org/adoption-application if you are interested in adopting Bailey, and a volunteer adoption counselor will contact you.

PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Our pets are housed in volunteer foster homes while awaiting adoption. We do our best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete and includes a mandatory home visit. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

About PetPromise, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.
