I found Sophie in September, 2015 on a street in San Antonio del Mar, Baja, where I live. Nobody knew to whom she belonged, and she clearly had been homeless for awhile, so, I took her in. I took her straight to the vet where she was wormed, and later vaccinated and spayed. She was very timid and shy at first but always friendly. Sophie is still timid but much more confident. The vet says she is very healthy and maybe 3 years old. She is so adorable, I wish I could keep her, but my 11 year old mini poodle is not happy to share! She is very patient with him, but she would so love to have more attention!
She loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. She is in the house most of the time but does enjoy sunbathing and sniffing around the yard. Oh, she is also just learning about toys. She is respectful of other dogs and cats and very friendly to adult humans, (but, I think, too timid for young children). If you are interested in meeting Sophie, I can bring her across the border.
