*Courtesy Post* Meet Diego, a 60 pound pitbull mix who is 10 months old. Diego is a sweet, housebroken, good natured boy who loves his people and his doggie friends. He is a good eater, treat motivated and knows how to sit, lay down and shake. He LOVES toys and is great at fetching a ball. He will retrieve the ball and bring it back. He will drop the ball when you tell him "drop it" and is ready to go for another round. He likes to sleep in his owner's bed or dog bed. He had a rough start in life but is now headed for much better days. He is up to date on shots, micro-chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300 plus a $100 refundable training deposit. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date for puppies 4 months and older. Please fill out an application today, at dogsfurdaysrescue.org!
Our dogs stay with wonderful fosters who are dedicated to delivering the best possible environment for our dogs while they await their new homes. In-home fostering allows for a more thorough evaluation of the dog in order to ensure the best possible match with a potential adopter, while simultaneously giving the dog an environment with necessary stimulation, socialization and interaction in order to grow and thrive outside the barriers of a shelter kennel until that match is made.
Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our foster dogs live with foster families who are happy to arrange meet and greets with potential adopters upon approved application. We also hold adoptions throughout San Diego--check our website for upcoming events! Dogsfurdays.org http://www.dogsfurdays.org/adoption-application/
Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters complete a preliminary application at http://www.dogsfurdays.org/adoption-application. Upon approval, applicants meet and discuss the dog with the dog's foster, ensuring a good fit for both. Adoption fees vary by dog.
