Facts about Shiloh

  • Breed: Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: White - With Gray Or Silver
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Shiloh gets along great with dogs of all sizes! He doesn't mind cats either! We've noticed he does not bark....even when other dogs are going crazy. He stays off the furniture no matter how many times you beg him to come cuddle, he is completely content laying on a pile of blankets on the floor. He is potty trained and whines when he needs to go. Given this big boys recent history he does fabulous on a leash! You stop, he stops. You walk, he walks! He is a VERY loyal dog that will follow you to all rooms of the house (even the bathroom). He isn't high energy, once he's done using the restroom outside he will direct you to the door and await his reward! (He loves treats) He is still very conscious of loud noises so I personally think a home with older children will be best! He is learning how to play with toys, he still looks really awkward though! Shiloh also doesn't seem to big on kisses but will open his mouth at you like he is giving a huge kiss! He tries to play with me by throwing his head all directions with his mouth opened lol! This baby doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body and just wants to be a loyal forever companion!

About Sinbad-Sadie Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Many shelters in South Carolina do not have the resources or space to adopt out the large number of animals they receive. We rescue animals at risk of being put to sleep due to these issues. All animals rescued live in foster homes. Foster families socialize and care for the needs of the animals before they are adopted out. We fundraise to provide for the many medical needs most of these animals have.

Come Meet Our Pets...

After completing an application, potential adopters can set up a time to meet the animal(s) of interest. We also have meet and greet events at pet supply stores in the Summerville area. Check our website (sinbadsadierescue.org) and facebook page for locations, dates and times.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application, home visit, trial period and contract are required for dogs. A trial period is not required for cats. Adoption fee is $150 for adult dogs, $200 for puppies, and $80 for cats. All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before adoption.
