Bailey's Story...
Meet Bailey. She's a quirky gal that loves sunshine and long runs. About a year old now, she still has that puppy energy. We know she's a boxer mix with her squishy face, but those flappy ears and a kinky curled tail that gives her so much personality has us stumped on what exactly she's mixed with. Maybe an Akita? She loves kiddos, but should probably stay away from the littler ones because she just doesn't know her own strength. She gets along great with other dogs, though seems a little TOO interested in the smaller dogs and cats to be comfortable. She's up to date on shots and will be spayed shortly. She's looking for a home that will let her rrrrruuuuuuunnnn and play! Look at her little grin, why don'tcha, and think about adding her to your family. She'll be sure to make your life so much fun!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Winchester Boxer/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Akita for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Boxer/Akita dog from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Akita breeders who help with Boxer/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
