  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 8337761-15-1048

Cutie lives in our Glendale Ave Thrift store. He loves sitting on his cat tree next to the register and greeting customers while keeping the staff company and being the cutest. He has a little head and a big belly and is often mistaken to be a pregnant lady when in reality he is a neutered male.  This always brings a laugh.  Cutie is super playful with the other kitties and humans in the shop and is not fearful of dogs, usually it is the other way around and the dogs let Cutie boss them around. As with other cats in our thrift store, he is feline leukemia positive, but we like to say Love is Positive and it does not impact the love he gives or the love he receives!

We keep a close eye for any changes in his behavior, sleeping, weight, eating patterns, and bathroom activities to ensure he is given the medical attention a FeLeuk+ cat requires.  He would need a home that has a cat or several cats with the same condition. He is a social butterfly and would not do well as an only cat.  He is young at about two years old and wants to play with people and cats alike.

He is used to small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and pet rats as we have fostered all of these in the shop while he has been staying with us.  It was so adorable watching him and one of the pet rats form a friendship and we even caught them gently touching hands. Cutie has also been known to gently pet our foster bunnies!  He is a curious and loving young man who deserves all the love, attention, cuddles, treats, and friends he can possibly get!

You can visit him at our Second Chances Thrift stores Glendale Avenue location.

All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
