I’m not used to putting myself out there like this, but here I go! My name is Charlie Fox, and I am very small and quiet. And that suits me just fine, ‘cause I really need a nice relaxed home. I have a lot of affection for people, but I get over stimulated pretty easily. I’m actually on medication for anxiety, ‘cause I shed a whole lot when I’m nervous. I also have a special diet of exclusively wet food. Oh, I hope this doesn’t make me sound high maintenance, ‘cause I’m really not! I just need lots of downtime. I’m really sweet, though! One might even call me playful at times! I must request that I not go home to active dogs or kids under 10, though. But if you have one other relaxed pet at home, dog or cat, I’d be fine with that. Um, yeah, that’s me! I’m looking forward to meeting you, I really am. Come to the Brother Wolf Adoption Center soon if you want to see me. Thanks a bunch!

All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
